This was my first recording made with Roland v-drums. I'm pleased with the balance between digital recording accuracy and “human sound”. while I’m certainly one who will not hesitate to program a drum part, I find that in some cases, the nuances of live playing are absolutely vital to the success of the song’s groove. this was also the first song that came about from me noodling on a guitar instead of the usual keyboard I tend to use as a
base composition instrument.
